Bolton Schutzhund Club was formed 2003 by our current Chairman
Kurt Schwenteck and was based in Westhougtan, Bolton. In Febuary 2005 we became members of the B.S.A, wich is now the
GSLD Workign Dog Group, and moved to our current location in Croft, Warrington. Thanks to our Landlord we have a small
Club house wich keeps us warm and dry in those horrible winter training days. We share our faciliaties with the BRSDC Area Group Warrington.
Our Club Chairman Kurt Schwenteck has been in this Sport since 1976 and has trained his dogs to all
levels of Schutzhund. He was also the helper in different Clubs in Germany (Dobermann, Boxer, GSD and Rottweiler)
and has won endless shows, Schutzhund trials and did the breed surveys for his BG-Hoyerswege. In the late 80's he came to
England to introduce the Schutzhund sport to this country and to hold the first Schutzhund trial.
We are a friendly club with no Breed Specific and have
so far Rottweiler, German Shepherds, American Bulldogs, Malinois, Giant Schnauzer, Boxer and Poodle,
we encourage members from Newbie to World Competitor with young or qualified dogs. So if you like spending time training
your dog and having fun in a three phase sport then feel free to give us a visit we are easy to find and you are more than
welcome.
Give us a ring for details on how to find us.
